What is #NaBloPoMo?

Some of you may have noticed that I am participating in BlogHer’s June NaBloPoMo. For those who don’t know, NaBloPoMo stands for National Blog Posting Month and is basically a daily writing prompt that is provided each weekday, and I use the prompt given to write something here on my blog.

It is really a great exercise for me because until this month, I have limited myself to only writing product review posts to share with the fine folks who visit my blog. It is exciting to change things up and write about myself and my family and share my thoughts on random topics. Of course I still plan to share product reviews and giveaways with you all, but I hope that you will read my NaBloPoMo posts and leave comments to share your thoughts and opinions with me.

Sometimes starting a new project can be scary, and I will admit, NaBloPoMo is a bit intimidating to me. My blog is still small, though I do have high hopes that I can someday be one of those well known bloggers that everyone in the blogging world has heard of. I have a lot of growing to do before I ever get anywhere close to being considered well known.

My hopes for starting the NaBloPoMo project are to grow as a writer, as a blogger, and as a person. I want to become more versatile and learn new things. This project could possibly even help me make some totally life changing decisions that I have been considering lately. Who knows where it might take me? For now, I am going to have fun with it and learn as much as I can in the process.

Have you started any new projects lately? How do new projects make you feel?

I feel nervous when I start a new life changing project. However on my blog I love change! Sort of strange but, that's the way I am.

I'm working on rearranging and reorganizing my room. That'll take...a year. I'm a huge procrastinator.

My husband and I are starting a new project...we are refinishing our deck. I am always surprised at how well we are able to work together. I know it isn't that way for all couples, and I am thankful.
