Barefoot Books Review

“Barefoot Books began with two mothers who wanted their children to have books that would feed the imagination, while instilling a respect for diversity and a love of the planet. Today, we are a world-wide community of writers, artists, storytellers, musicians, and others who are committed to providing timeless stories and captivating art that can help children become happy, engaged members of a global society.”

I received 2 books and a package of yoga cards for review.

I can’t even begin to explain how excited I was to find out that Barefoot Books was going to send me books to review. My two year old son Cooper absolutely loves to read, so needless to say we have read every book in our house about 100 times each. I was desperate for a wonderful new story to read to him.

Just by looking at the website for Barefoot Books, I knew I was in for a treat. The books arrived quickly and my son just happened to be standing nearby when I opened the package. He spotted all of the bright colors as soon as I opened the package and immediately requesting that we drop everything and start reading… which of course, we did!

The first book that we pulled out of the package was a sing-along book that included a CD. It was titled “The Animal Boogie”. Cooper absolutely loved this book, and now he almost knows every word by heart! “The Animal Boogie” is bright, colorful and fun. It is a huge step up from your average children’s book.

The second book that we received was a board book entitled “Bear In Sunshine”. This book features a bear who takes you through all four seasons. “Bear In Sunshine” is the perfect book for a toddler. The quality of the book is amazing. The colors are so bright and fun that you will want to read this with your child again and again. The rhyme and humor of the text helps young children understand the concept of each season.

I also received the “Yoga Planet” Card deck. What an amazing product! This deck includes 50 extra large size cards. Each card has a different yoga pose or activity with detailed instructions included on the card. Both my son and I have learned a lot from the yoga cards. We practice a few poses each day together. It is a fun activity for our family that promotes wellness and fitness.

Barefoot Books also offers an Ambassador program. As a Barefoot Books Ambassador, you’ll have the opportunity to share these beautiful books and gifts with your neighbors, friends and others in your community. You can work the schedule that’s right for you and “live Barefoot” the way that suits you best. You can learn more about becoming a Barefoot Ambassador here.

I simply can not say enough about Barefoot Books. I was truly amazed at the quality of these books, as well as the amazing stories and illustrations. Not to mention, their prices are extremely affordable. Barefoot Books stands alone in the world of children’s books. These books truly are a giant step above the rest.

You can check out everything Barefoot Books has to offer here.

I did not receive compensation for this review. I did receive 2 books and a deck of yoga cards to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% mine.
